We want to have AgileZen displayed on an information monitor for our team, having it autorefresh every hour or so, such that it keeps up to date, but we want the Backlog and Archive tabs to stay open when the page loads. Is there any way we can force this? It doesn't have to be simple.

    Hi Joe,

There is no way to do this at this time, but I have some exciting news for you. :) Our new product release, scheduled for beta release at the end of next month, will actually include real time updates (read more here: http://www.agilezen.com/blog/2012/06/08/features-of-the-new-agilezen/), so you shouldn't have the issue of having to auto-refresh the page regularly. The interface will appear somewhat differently as far as archiving and backlog views go, but that's why we'd love to have you join the free beta upon release and give us your feedback. :) We'll be iteratively improving the product based on our own vision and the user feedback we receive in the beta stage, so we encourage you to keep an eye out for the release and give the new product a try!

    Sincerely,

    Ashley

That's great news, Ashley - thanks for the response. However, were we to be in a similar situation with the new version (we often cycle through various stats, progress boards and graphs on the monitors) could we load the page as desired, with the tabs shown?

    Hi Joe,

You might open multiple tabs and always leave the board open to how you want it to appear, and then open your other tabs for the rest of your workflow (where it doesn't matter how the board appears) in alternate tabs. This is the best way I can think of to do it :) I'll put in a request for you for locking areas of the board -- however, since we're still in early development and beta stages, things may change quite a bit. :) Thanks for your feedback and definitely check out the new product when we release it to provide your feedback then as well!

    Sincerely,

    Ashley
